BCC A-team

Home / BCC A-team

Every year, between 300 and 400 young people in BCC apply for the youth program called A-team.

For the past 20 years, this has been a collective term for various youth programs that have been associated with BCC, either directly or indirectly through coinciding objectives. Although the organization has changed somewhat over the years, the basic idea is the same and the mission profile is clear.

Historical facts

  • Around 6,000 young people have participated in A-team since its inception in 2002
  • An offer for young people in BCC, and the stay typically lasts a year
  • The main elements are Bible teaching, fellowship, work, and cultural exchange
  • Applicants come from all over the world: between 20 and 30 different nations have been represented each year

A popular offer

A-team has long been a popular offer, both for young people from Norway and other parts of the world. They live and work together for a year, taking part in Bible studies and various activities and experiences with their peers.

As with several other churches and non-profit organizations, youth are offered a different kind of year, where they meet participants from many countries. The cohesion and bonds that develop between the young people during this year can be compared to what people experience after military service etc.
