The responses show a generally positive development, close to last year’s level. Many members expressa srong feeling of ownership and commitment to the work being done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was the highest <\/strong>score<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of the highest scores was for the question “To what extent do you agree or disagree with the following statements: The church has developed positively over the past 10 years?” It received an average score of 4.72 out of 5 – an increase since 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The highest score was for the question “I feel that BCC offers a safe and supportive environment for children and young people,” which achieved a score of 4.82.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lowest value in the survey, a score of 3.08, was given to the question about the local church’s annual meetings: “To what extent do you agree or disagree with the following statement: I familiarize myself with the case documents in advance of the annual meeting?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Constructive input and suggestions<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Almost 700 people wrote a comment at the end of the survey, and 40 percent of these can be categorized as “Thank you and support messages”. This category is an increase from last year, while critical feedback is around 7%, and the trend is down from last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, there are many useful suggestions for improvements. Several point out that the information can be perceived as fragmented, and call for a more comprehensive overview, while others comment on culture and decision-making processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The results and responses from the member survey provide valuable feedback that we work with meticulously. It helps us to see where we can be more clear and accessible in our communication, and it allows us to consider measures to meet the needs of our members,” says Hustad Nilsen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Topics related to finances and the donation model make up a large part of the comments, but the proportion is lower than last year. This applies, for example, to input on the way donation model is calculated in relation to tax systems in different countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Big changes \u2013 and strong commitment<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In recent years, BCC has undergone extensive organizational changes, and the members have shown great loyalty and commitment. All this is done to ensure a safe framework for faith and fellowship in the church, so that we can continue to gather in peace and preach the gospel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We really appreciate that so many people took the time to participate in the member survey; it likely reflects the great commitment our members have for the church and the common interest we have in developing everything for the better,” says Hustad Nilsen.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
