The workshop was held from 22nd \u2013 23rd October, and since BCC is Oslofjord Convention Center\u2019s largest customer, the aim with the weekend was to find out BCC\u2019s needs in connection with events both now and in the future.<\/p>\n
\u2013 We need a future-oriented and effective conference center, and the alternatives we offer should be so unique that no one else has anything like it, says chairman Alf Aadalen, as a welcome and kick off on Saturday morning. And we need the customers\u2019 help in order to develop the best alternatives, Alf continues, and encourages the participants to be proactive and constructively critical.<\/em><\/p>\n Showed genuine interest<\/strong><\/p>\n BCC members were invited from all over the world to contribute in revealing the many different customer needs and prerequisites. Oslofjord showed a genuine interest in BCC members who are the prime customer group. The interest first and foremost was expressed through a particularly well organized workshop, which was facilitated by the consultant agency Boston Consulting Group. This genuine interest also became apparent through an exclusive service offered to the BCC members during the whole event. As an important customer group Oslofjord gave the BCC members a unique experience that included the best service so far that has been experienced up to the present day.<\/p>\n Jochen Bahm\u00fcller from D\u00fcrmenz in Germany is enthusiastic about the whole experience: This has been a proper VIP experience, as a customer I felt myself really well looked after.<\/p>\n For Dawn Cinnamon from Ottawa in Canada it is important to represent the target group who travel far to come to Oslofjord: It is important that Oslofjord is also given international input, says Dawn, who came to Norway just to attend the event.<\/p>\n The BCC members felt they had been listened to, and were left with a clear impression that the customers\u00b4 opinions would be looked into.<\/p>\n \u2013 Of course we are an important customer group and it makes us feel safe and secure to be invited here to give our opinions,<\/em> says Annette Vedvik from T\u00f8nsberg in Norway.<\/p>\n BCC member Susi Simons from Salem in USA found it inspiring to take part in the workshop, and experienced that in the course of the weekend the participants\u2019 ideas took shape:<\/p>\n \u2013 It really is valuable for us who are conference participants to be able to have an influence on how Oslofjord is formed in the future. I experienced that each one of us came with our contributions, and that the whole picture became something valuable and inspiring,<\/em> says Susi.<\/p>\n The Heart of the place<\/strong><\/p>\n The Workshop had special focus on the conference center\u2019s amenities and facilities.
