The spread of the Corona virus has given limitations on meeting together for the upbuilding of our faith, and Christians over the whole country have become engaged in how to gather in a new way online. The situation has resulted in many creative solutions, and today The Christian Council of Norway invited to joint prayer gatherings on digital platforms.
For the BCC members prayer is a natural part of our lives, and is something we carry with us every day. But in this particular situation we would like to draw attention to the words of Paul to Timothy:
Therefore, I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings, and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our saviour, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth’
(The first letter of Paul to Timothy 2: 1 – 4).
The prayer of BCC is part of a broadcast on Brunstad TV, and this is also published on The Christian Council of Norway’s Facebook page, in addition to the links published here.
